Oonagh O’Hagan is a pharmacist, award-winning entrepreneur, and global business leader transforming healthcare retail. A Trinity College Dublin graduate with almost 30 year’s experience in community pharmacy, she leads Meaghers Pharmacy Group—10 Dublin-based pharmacies and a global e-commerce platform serving 80+ countries.

Her leadership has earned her titles like Irish Tatler Businesswoman of the Year and WMB Entrepreneur of the Year, while Meaghers has been recognised as a Deloitte Best Managed Company (Platinum) and Retail Excellence Employer of the Year.

A passionate advocate for women’s health, gut health she is a firm champion of taking a preventative approach to your health. As such she has developed the Meaghers Pharmacy 360 program which is an integrated health program addressing nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management as well as relationships we have with our environment, the people in our life and ourself.

Oonagh has worked in community pharmacy for 30 years and in that time has observed a significant shift in the types of patients presenting with diseases directly linked to chronic inflammation. This change has both fascinated and alarmed her, as more inflammatory diseases are emerging in younger patients. She notes that our lifestyles have evolved since her qualification, with increased stress, a decline in nutrient-rich foods, and changes in farming and food processing having a substantial impact. We are consuming more processed foods, living in a hustle culture, and feeling more stressed than ever. Oonagh is passionate about research, and over the last decade she began exploring the connection between inflammation and chronic disease. As a strong advocate for preventative healthcare, she believed there had to be a solution.

When Oonagh and Daniel connected, they discovered their shared curiosity and passion about the causes of inflammation and how it remains a hidden issue. Oonagh talks directly to those living with a variety of health complications every day. Some are aware that inflammation plays a key role in their condition but more often they are unaware of the connection. With a key interest in gut health, female hormone health and skin health Oonagh gathers insights from her customers on their experiences with inflammation daily.

Daniel on the other hand, offers a broader perspective, having studied the subject in laboratories and research papers. Together, they envisioned a solution to help those suffering from silent inflammation, who may face further health complications in the future. Merging the expertise of a pharmacist and a nutritional scientist, they established a brand dedicated to addressing inflammation while promoting a fuller, more energised, and less stressful life. Their mission is to harmonise science, nature, and the human body.

Thus, At One was born.

Introducing At One, a high quality science backed supplement, made here in Ireland and packed with natural ingredients to address this silent inflammation in our bodies.
